Virtual public meetings and virtual public consultations present a great opportunity to reach more people than the traditional in-person event. Virtual public meetings can include many of the same features as face-to-face events. We coordinate online Public Information Centres, design charrettes, and moderated panel presentations. We were amongst the first in Ontario to facilitate online statutory meetings.
You need not worry about a thing. We can take care of all of the details for you, from registration and session design, to arranging for flyering and the placement of social media ads. We create meaningful consultation for your stakeholders.
The Monarch Park Group is fully prepared to host your meeting on our platform or yours. We provide training to your presenters/panelists and often also recommend a “sandbox session” for your attendees to gain confidence with the platform and reduce anxiety around participating in a virtual consultation. We are here to make this a smooth and well-run public meeting. We have long specialized in contentious or “high heat” public meetings. We bring the same level of care and rigour to contentious meetings that are virtual as we did to those that were in-person.
We hired Karyn for a community meeting that was planned to occur in-person at the end of March 2020. The meeting, understandably, didn’t pan out as planned because of COVID-19 but Karyn quickly adapted our work plan to accommodate a virtual meeting. She took care of every logistic possibly imaginable with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail. She facilitated the virtual community meeting and kept the meeting running smoothly, on-time, without technical issues, and she monitored the Q+A/chat function to ensure a respectful dialogue. We received a lot of positive feedback from the community for her involvement as a neutral third party. I’ve already referred many of my colleagues to her and would not hesitate to have her on future projects.Ashley Paton, B.U.R.P.I., MCIP, RPP, Planner/Urban Designer, GSP Group Inc.
